Our Story
Kbaby Legacy Kreations was created from love, loss, and the desire to honor life in a meaningful way.
My journey into this work did not begin as a business.
It began with loss.
Losing my mother, Katherine “Shirley” Rodgers, known as Kbaby, changed my life in ways I could never fully explain. She was the foundation of our family. Full of wisdom, love, and acceptance.
Our family experienced two more devastating losses of my nephews, Diontay “Chase” Willis and Jarvis Phillips-Willis, both taken far too soon.
Grief came in waves.
But through that pain, something else began to grow… purpose.
I realized that while we could not control loss, we could control how we honor those we love.
I knew I wanted to create something that would preserve memories and help others through their most difficult moments. What started as pain became purpose.
